Accessibility Designer (User Experience)

Advise and educate product owners, product managers, designers, content writers, and marketing department on accessibility requirements. Work with product team on MinuteClinic and telehealth products, ensuring accessibility and remediating defects as high fidelity wireframes are developed by engineers in lower environments. Work in SAFe Agile environment.

User Experience Generalist at the University of Maine:

Drew wireframes, conducted user journey mapping, conducted persona and analytics research and wrote content for and created Design System in Content Management System (CMS) for the University of Maine System (UMS) government website.

Created over 14 new subsites and began process of editing and redesigning 22 previously created subsites since August of 2020.

Created website’s first content calendar and style guide.

Accessibility, CMS and Web Best Practices Workshops

Developed training and taught editors across the University of Maine System to edit on WordPress CMS ecosystem; accessibility best practices for Section 508, Americans with Disabilities Act and WCAG 2.1 AA requirements; and Associated Press Style writing for the web.

Video Campaigns:

• Produced multi-level video campaign for World Kitchen brands, with budget exceeding $100,000.
• Produced series of emotional fundraising videos that raised over $1,000,000 for nonprofit client.
• Produced a series of videos for university web refresh project, which filmed in over 30 classrooms, clubs, and campus activities, and included a facilities drone shoot, with a budget exceeding $70,000 in a 6-month span.
• Produced the 2013 #ConsciousConsumer social video campaign for Nielsen, with growth of over 400% viewership every month for initial campaign run

Film Production:

Served and credited as “Associate Producer” for the documentary film “I Am for Peace” which aired nationally on PBS.

Project Leadership:

Served as project lead during the creation and development of a customized Snapchat lens and Instagram and Snapchat stickers for DePaul University as part of an institutional rebranding initiative.
